Question 1

What is a QR code?

Accepted Answer

A QR (Quick Response) code is a two-dimensional barcode that stores information in a grid of black and white squares. When a phone camera or QR reader scans it, the encoded content — such as a website link, Wi-Fi credentials, contact card, or plain text — is decoded and presented to the user. Unlike traditional one-dimensional barcodes that hold a short number, QR codes can store much more data, including URLs, text, and structured formats like vCards and calendar events.

Question 2

Is Veyqora free to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can create, customize, download and scan QR codes without paying, signing up, or adding a watermark. All QR generation and scanning features are available to everyone at no cost.

Question 3

Do I need to create an account?

Accepted Answer

No. Veyqora does not require registration, login, or any personal information. You can open the site and start generating or scanning QR codes immediately.

Question 4

Do Veyqora QR codes expire?

Accepted Answer

No. Veyqora creates static QR codes, which means your information is encoded directly inside the code. The code itself does not depend on a Veyqora server, redirect link, or account, so it will not expire. However, if your QR code points to a website, the code will only remain useful as long as that destination page is online. The QR code itself does not expire, but the content it links to may change or disappear independently.

Question 5

Does Veyqora store the information I enter?

Accepted Answer

No. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The text, URLs, Wi-Fi credentials, contact details, and other content you type are processed on your device and are not sent to a Veyqora server for generation. Once you download or close the page, your input is no longer in use by the tool.

Question 6

Is my Wi-Fi password uploaded anywhere?

Accepted Answer

No. When you create a Wi-Fi QR code, the network name, password, and security type are encoded in your browser only. The password is not transmitted to a server. The resulting QR code is a static code that works offline once downloaded.

Question 7

How does Veyqora generate QR codes?

Accepted Answer

Veyqora uses a JavaScript QR code library that runs inside your browser. When you enter information and select a QR type, the tool encodes your content into the correct format (for example, a mailto: link for email or a WIFI: string for Wi-Fi), then renders the QR code directly on a canvas element in the page. No server-side processing is involved in the generation step.

Question 8

What types of QR codes can I create?

Accepted Answer

Veyqora supports nine QR types: website URLs, plain text, Wi-Fi network access, contact cards (vCard), email, phone numbers, SMS messages, geographic locations, and calendar events. Each type encodes content in the standard format that phones and QR readers expect, so a scanned Wi-Fi code can offer to join a network, a vCard can save to contacts, and an event can be added to a calendar.

Question 9

Can I download my QR code?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Once your QR code is generated, you can download it as a PNG image or an SVG file. PNG is a fixed-size raster image suitable for screens and small prints. SVG is a vector format that stays sharp at any size and is recommended for printing. You can also copy the QR image to your clipboard or copy the encoded text content.

Question 10

Should I use PNG or SVG?

Accepted Answer

Use PNG for digital display, social media, and small prints where a fixed resolution is sufficient. Use SVG for printed materials such as business cards, posters, signs, and packaging, because it is a vector format that scales without pixelation. If you are sending the file to a professional printer, SVG is usually the safer choice.

Question 11

Can I add a logo to a QR code?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In the customization panel you can upload a small logo image (PNG, JPG, or WebP under 2 MB) and Veyqora will place it in the center of the QR code. When a logo is added, error correction is automatically set to the highest level to help maintain scannability. Always scan-test a QR code with a logo before printing it, because a large or low-contrast logo can reduce reliability.

Question 12

What is QR error correction?

Accepted Answer

Error correction is a feature of the QR code standard that allows a code to remain readable even when part of it is damaged or obscured. There are four levels: L (low, ~7% recovery), M (medium, ~15%), Q (quartile, ~25%), and H (high, ~30%). Higher levels make the code more resilient but also denser. Veyqora lets you choose the error correction level in the customization panel, and it automatically switches to the highest level when you add a logo.

Question 13

Why isn't my QR code scanning?

Accepted Answer

The most common causes are low contrast between the foreground and background, a printed size that is too small, insufficient quiet zone (blank space) around the code, a logo that covers too much of the code, or too much encoded data making the modules very dense. Veyqora warns you when your chosen colors may be too low contrast. To improve scannability, increase contrast, print the code larger, keep a white margin around it, use higher error correction, and always scan-test before publishing.

Question 14

Can Veyqora scan a QR code from an image?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In the scanner, switch to the Upload image tab and choose a PNG, JPG, WebP, or GIF file containing a QR code. The image is decoded locally in your browser — it is not uploaded to a server. For best results, use a sharp, well-lit photo taken close to the code.

Question 15

Can I scan a QR code using my camera?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In the scanner, switch to the Use camera tab and press Start camera. Point your camera at a QR code and Veyqora will decode it in real time. Camera frames are processed only on your device while the scanner is active. If your browser does not support camera access or permission is denied, you can upload an image instead.

Question 16

Can I use Veyqora QR codes for my business?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You may use the QR codes you create for business cards, menus, packaging, signs, events, Wi-Fi sharing, and other lawful commercial purposes. There is no license fee and no watermark. If you need printable quality, download the SVG version and scan-test before printing in bulk.

Question 17

Can QR codes work without an internet connection?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the content. A QR code that contains plain text, Wi-Fi credentials, or a contact card can be scanned and used without an internet connection, because the information is stored directly in the code. A QR code that links to a website requires an internet connection to open the destination page, but the code itself can still be scanned offline.

Question 18

What is the difference between static and dynamic QR codes?

Accepted Answer

A static QR code stores your information directly inside the code itself. Once created, its content cannot be changed, but it never expires and does not require a hosting service. A dynamic QR code stores a short redirect link instead of the final content, which allows the destination to be changed later and enables scan tracking — but it depends on a server, may expire, and often requires a paid subscription. Veyqora currently creates static QR codes only.

Question 19

Can I edit a QR code after I create it?

Accepted Answer

No. Because Veyqora creates static QR codes, the information is permanently encoded in the code at the moment of generation. If you need to change the destination or content, you must generate a new QR code and replace the old one. This is a trade-off of static codes: they never expire and need no hosting, but they are not editable after download.

Question 20

How large should I print a QR code?

Accepted Answer

For reliable scanning, print the QR code at least 2.5 to 3 centimeters (about 1 inch) wide on a business card, and larger for posters or signs viewed from a distance. A common guideline is that the scanning distance should be no more than 10 times the width of the code. Always leave a white quiet zone around the code equal to at least a few modules, and scan-test a printed proof before producing large quantities.

Question 21

Does the camera scanner record video?

Accepted Answer

No. Camera frames are examined locally only while the scanner is active. Veyqora does not record, store, or upload video. When you stop the scanner or leave the page, camera access is released immediately.

Question 22

Does Veyqora automatically open scanned links?

Accepted Answer

No. When a URL is detected in a scanned code, Veyqora displays the full link and requires you to press the Open link button. It never redirects you automatically, so you can review the destination before opening it.
